5-Rounds, Swiss-System Tournament, 30 Minutes Per Player (Game/30), World-Famous Marshall Chess Club, 23 West 10th Street, between 5th-6th Avenues, New York City. 12 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:45 pm, 4 pm, 5:20 pm.
Players who register in advance should be at the Marshall Chess Club when their first game begins. Players who do not register in advance must register at site, at least 15 minutes before their first game. On-site registration IS ONLY ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT, AFTER 11:10 am.
Limit of two half-point bye available if committed to before 1:30 pm. Official USCF May 2009 Rating List will be used. CCA Minimum Ratings may also be used at Director's discretion.
Current USCF Membership is required of ALL PLAYERS and may also be purchased with your tournament entry registration. USCF membership dues are not refundable.
Entry fees less $3 service charge refunded to players who notify the Tournament Director that they will withdraw from the tournament NO LATER THAN THE THURSDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT. $5 service charge for each player refund requested on the Friday before the tournament-- BEFORE 8 pm. NO EMAIL RECEIVED AFTER 8 PM ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.
